No kidding Claire, maybe this sounds nuts, but I literally felt wonky all day yesterday just thinking about it - the game…and the butterflies began morphing into bats as game time approached. I was on my way home from local bff’s and the radio announcer said the puck had not long since dropped dropped and Canada had scored. Ok, not bad, checked the telly when I got home, poweplay goal. SWEET…slowly the bats stopped fluttering. With all that nervous energy, I worked out a little, all the while toggling back and forth to the game still feeling a tad nauseous, and questioning if the work out was even effective. After that, I kept tuned in until the end. What a game indeed. I thanked the good lord, allah, buddah, and whatever other deity was listening. Thank you lawd, thank you geezus…And also appreciated the fact I don’t suffer heartburn.
